SERVE AND PASS CAMP

This camp is designed for girls entering 5th through 8th grade who have at least one full season of club volleyball experience and are looking to improve two of the most critical skills in the game—serving and passing. From a college coach’s perspective, the players who separate themselves are the ones who can handle pressure in serve receive and control their serve with consistency and purpose. That’s the foundation of this camp.

TRAINING FOCUS

Players will receive high-rep training focused on serving and passing. Each day is structured to develop the mechanics, timing, and decision-making necessary to be effective from the backcourt. The goal is to help players gain confidence through repetition, instruction, and purposeful feedback.

Serving Focus: Training will emphasize developing a repeatable and consistent motion, improving zone accuracy and placement, and learning to serve with purpose under pressure. Players will gain confidence through high-volume reps and live gameplay situations that demand intentional execution.

Passing Focus: Players will focus on reading the ball early, adjusting platform angles based on trajectory, and moving efficiently to stay balanced and in control. Training will also cover communication, spacing, and the responsibilities within team serve receive systems.

Gameplay Application: Serve and pass training will be applied through live sequences and game-like scenarios that challenge decision-making under pressure. The purpose is to take technical reps and turn them into habits that transfer to match play.

COACHING

Training is led by experienced Sky coaching staff. Each session is purposeful and structured to push players to elevate their skillset, build confidence, and better understand how to make an impact from the backcourt. The coaching environment is high-energy, detailed, and designed to bring out the best in each player.

DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our Developmental Program is series of programs designed to provide a structured pathway for girls ages 5-15 who are newer to volleyball. Players are grouped by age to ensure they train alongside peers in an appropriate and supportive environment for balanced competition and skill development. These programs focus on building confidence, improving coordination, and fostering a love for the game while developing fundamental volleyball skills.

While skill progression is the primary factor in advancement, maturity also plays a role. We assess a player’s ability to handle the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the game before moving them to the next level.

This structured pathway of our three Developmental Programs ensures that all players are in the right training environment for their current level, while continually challenging them to improve.
