YOUR DAUGHTER'S RECRUITING JOURNEY

Beginning the college recruiting journey is an exciting yet complex chapter in your daughter’s life. It brings opportunities and challenges, and we understand it’s about more than athletics—it’s about shaping her growth, character, and future path.

Our role is to walk alongside her every step of the way, providing guidance, insight, and support so she can make informed and confident decisions. Recruiting isn’t just about choosing a volleyball program—it’s about finding the right environment where she can thrive academically, socially, and athletically. That’s why our approach is intentional and comprehensive, with her long-term success as the priority.

Our staff brings firsthand experience as former professional and college players, as well as current and former college coaches. We’ve navigated the process ourselves and have guided many players through it. That perspective allows us to mentor your daughter not only on the logistics of recruiting but also on the emotional and personal aspects that come with such an important decision.

We believe the right fit goes beyond playing time or scholarship offers. It’s about aligning her volleyball skills, academic aspirations, personal values, and long-term goals with the program that best supports her growth. We help her evaluate all aspects of a school—volleyball opportunities, academics, team culture, and environment—so she can make a choice that positions her for success on and off the court.

The process can feel overwhelming, but we break it down into clear, manageable steps. From developing an effective highlight reel to teaching her how to communicate with college coaches, interpret scholarship offers, and assess programs, we provide the tools she needs to navigate the journey with confidence. While the effort and commitment will always be her own, our guidance keeps her focused and moving in the right direction.

Most importantly, we help her use this journey as a chance for self-discovery—clarifying who she is, what she values, and what she wants from her college experience. For us, recruiting isn’t just about connecting her with opportunities; it’s about helping her find a place where she can thrive as a student, a player, and a person.

At Sky, we’re honored to play a role in this chapter of her life. Our mission is not only to open doors but to help her choose the path that sets her up for success well beyond volleyball.

Recruiting Resources

This can be a challenging process, so we are here to ensure you get the answers you need.

Recruiting Director

Julia’s experience as both a college player and coach gives her a unique perspective on the recruiting process. She played at the community college and Division I levels before coaching in college, high school, and club programs, which allows her to understand what college coaches are looking for and how players can prepare at every stage.

As Recruiting Director, she spends countless hours on the phone with college coaches, building relationships and sharing insight about our players while also working directly with families to provide honest feedback and clear direction. These ongoing conversations keep Sky players top of mind with programs across the country and open doors that might not otherwise exist. For families, her guidance provides clarity in a process that can feel overwhelming and ensures players are pursuing opportunities that align with both their aspirations and long-term growth. Julia’s focus goes beyond creating opportunities—she is committed to helping each player find the right fit based on her individual goals, development, and who she is as a person.
